Mumbai | Nasir Rafiq Memon, a 20-year old student of computer engineering college in Bandra, Mumbai is a true hero of India.
Nasir who suffered polio and lost the use of his left leg at the age of one was watching television on Saturday (Dec.22) when he saw 16-year old Nishant Shah fall into deep 40-foot well while chasing the ball. Without a single thought Nasir jumped into deep well forgetting his disability. With one non-moving leg it was very difficult for Nasir to save Nishant but he tried his level best to pull Nishant’s head out of the water. Nishant was panicked and had swallowed lot of water so it was more difficult for Nasir to climb out of the well.
Fortunately, some people came for rescue and they pulled out of the well with rope. It was found that Nasir didn’t even know how to swim but still jumped into the well ignoring all disabilities.
Don’t you think, Nasir is a true hero of India ?
