Punjab | In a strange incident, a woman from Majitha had kidnapped her own ‘husband’ and demanded money from her in-laws to release him.

This incident is so strange because victim Narinder Singh had never met his so-called wife Sonia but only got to know about her on phone. They became so friendly on phone that they begun referring each other as husband-wife. Narinder, a 21-year old farmer also asked his family to consider Sonia as their ‘Bahu’.

But when on one day Narinder went to meet Sonia after receiving a call from her, he never came back and his family received a call from their imaginary daughter-in-law Sonia to arrange for Rs 70 lakh to release her hubby.
